Great Pattern – Easy to follow instructions and love the video assistance. Nearly finished first Tee but will definitely be making others.

I wanted to make a coat for a long time but kept putting it off as I thought it was too hard. So I got the Vienne coat pattern as I know Donna’s instructions and YouTube videos are great, and I’m so glad I did. It was actually really straightforward to make. There’s a lot of steps of course but they’re manageable.
If you don’t think you can make a coat, this is the pattern for you!
All the details of my coat are on my blog https://sewminigems.wordpress.com/2022/02/04/vienne-coat-part-2-the-finished-article/

I’ve not made this yet, it’s on my to do list. This pattern was a freebie promotion from the ever generous soul Donna. I’ve got fabric in my stash to use up so thank you Donna for a pattern that will stash bust, that’ll keep him outdoors happy! X

I made 2 versions of this Fabulous Swishy skirt to take on holiday. I used viscose fabric from Morocco, bought on a previous holiday. It’s a well designed pattern that makes up well. It comes with very clear step by step instructions and brilliant video tutorial by Donna to guide you through all the sewing processes neede to give you a lovely finished garment. These are especially useful if you have little or no seeing experience. I’ve seen for many many years but like to use them and often pick up new tips or get reminded of processes I may nor have used for a long time.I’m looking forward to making more skirts with this pattern.

Very quick service and given answers to my questions about the fabric very promptly. Donna is friendly with
lots of wisdom. The fabric is FABULOUS! I dream about making this coat, I’ve been a bit unwell of late so buying this fabric kit was my carrot at the end of the stick so to speak! The only thing that might be helpful is a photo online with a tape measure so that you have idea of scale. The online sewalongs are fantastic, look them up. Thank you Donna.

I really enjoyed making the Serene skirt. It came together well. I had never made an elasticated waist with that technique previously and the YouTube guide helped me understand how to do it and how easy it was to do. Plus it is so comfy to wear – great pattern

I’ve made this coat twice now. It’s a beauty! Straight forward to make if you follow the instructions step by step. Watch the video for the slightly tricky bits! When made it’s casual but chic I would say. The wow factor is all in the lining ……
