I had the size:me’d pattern for making these. I did this as with trousers it is all about the fit and I am quite short. Standard patterns always have to be fiddled with – which I hate doing (#lazysewer) The written instructions were easy to follow. However, there is a tutorial which Donna presents brilliantly as she is a great teacher/explainer. If you’re buying the made to measure patterns, you MUST follow the tutorial on how to complete the measuring DON’T wing it.

I ordered the fabric and notions from SizeMe and downloaded the pattern. I would class myself as an advanced beginner sewer. So the instructions an videos are really helpful for me. Also choosing the right fabric is is sometimes a struggle so being able to buy the fabric and notions that are perfect for the pattern is really helpful too. I love my trousers and can’t wait to wear them out. I also made the Florence blouse to go with them and I’m really pleased with the results

Not the best photo, but these Florence pants came out just wonderful! The material is a very drapey wool. I made the first run with muslin to get the fit right. Then dove in with the fancy fabric. These trousers are just luscious! Thanks for a fun project!
