Love, love, love it. As a larger lady jumpsuits are not always that flattering but I have had so many compliments when I wear it and it’s so comfortable. 😊 The next one is in the projects queue!

Very clear instructions and well laid out pattern booklet. The video that goes with the pattern is very good and easy to follow.

I’ve made two pairs of these trousers. A light summer pair of trousers and a heavier winter version with corduroy. So easy to make and highly recommend this pattern.

A lovely pattern and it gave a welcome opportunity to have a go at making something with a more challenging fabric! I started with the Florence blouse as a test of the pattern sizing and not generally being someone who would choose a raglan sleeve. The thought of attempting shirring was also at first daunting for me! The combination of Donna’s written instructions and especially the comprehensive video tutorial made the process very enjoyable and the links to sections of the video meant it was easy to pick up in bite size chunks. My machine didn’t accept the shirring bobbin at the first few attempts but Donna’s video advice to search for a machine-related guide for this soon meant I had successfully worked out what I needed to do and, for a first attempt at shirring, I am very pleased! The blouse is beautiful and so comfy to wear - like a cloud! The darted and generous sleeves make the raglan a flattering fit and the V neck is a beautiful fit. The guidance for binding a delicate fabric neckline ensure another skill learned and I am now ready to choose and sew my next Size:Me pattern! I have a couple of questions for Donna but as I am attending her French Sewing Retreat in a few weeks, I look forward to asking her there and really ensuring I consolidate my learning!

This sewing retreat is exactly what it says on the tin, you get an amazing space to enjoy some calm relaxing sewing, as well as having a laugh with some amazing like minded people. The area is beautiful and the afternoon tea is also a wonderful break up of the sewing to give you an extra treat. The hosts Donna and Richard are amazing throughout, providing delicious food, excellent help and tutorials, driving around for all your needs and going above and beyond with whatever you need. Our flight home was cancelled and Donna was straight on the phone trying to help us out! Confolens is very picturesque and there are lovely places to visit or even just to have a picnic by the river. I would definitely recommend and hope to attend next year if possible

I’ve just returned from a wonderful retreat with Donna and seven other inspirational woman (plus Richard 🙏) and what a wholesome experience it was. I’ve run training courses myself so could see how well she handled a diverse group with different needs. Her patience is endless.

I loved the location, the b and b (13 Bees), the food and of course the tuition. The balance of instruction , tips and chats was perfect. I’m not sure when I will fit another one in but I will be back to enjoy this wonderful experience again.

Attended the retreat with my friend Abi, and were picked up from the airport by the lovely Richard, taken to our accommodation we had booked and he helped us with our luggage up 2 flights of stairs. I met Donna the following day, and she welcomed us with a big smile and an even bigger hug, immediately dispelling all my built up nerves. All the ladies in my group were equally friendly and came from different walks of life and worked on different sewing projects. Donna was very patient in answering questions (there was no such thing as a silly question) and providing valuable advice with fitting issues. During the session Donna also provided mini tutorials (invaluable in my opinion) as this has completely revolutionised the way I insert my invisible zipper and sleeves. I also had a tutorial on shirring elastic and sewing button holes with the sewing machine. We were provided with delicious lunches and afternoon tea. The downside for me was that it was in the middle of a heatwave, so I was uncomfortable at times, but Donna made sure that we were well hydrated with cold drinks. I was also not completely satisfied with the trousers I made but again this was due to my choice of fabric and not the pattern. Th retreat was a nice break from the hustle and bustle of town and you were allowed to work at your own pace. I enjoyed Donna’s style of teaching and have booked to go on another of Donna’s courses next year.

I went on the Sewing Retreat earlier this year, booked again for next year on my return – it is that good.

I have made two pairs of trousers from this pattern now and I love it. The pocket detail is very stylish and they are wonderfully swishy trousers. I expect to be making another pair soon.
